Bloomberg rates Mordashov as Russia’s wealthiest businessman
MOSCOW, Nov 1 (PRIME) -- Alexei Mordashov, core owner and chairman of board of directors of steelmaker Severstal, has become Russia’s wealthiest tycoon according to the weekly Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as seen by PRIME on Tuesday.
As of Monday, Mordashov’s fortune increased by U.S. $126.3 million to $15.7 billion. Mordashov topped another tycoon, Vladimir Potanin, president of Interros holding, which holds 30% in metals giant Norilsk Nickel, by $200 million.
Out of 200 world’s wealthiest tycoons, Mordashov was ranked 49th, while Potanin was ranked 51st this week.
